About Us
Khepri bags are handmade using vintage and recycled materials. Vintage leathers and textiles are sourced from discarded lambskin garments, vintage leather jackets, vintage blankets, salvaged military tents, homespun cotton grain sacks, recycled cotton, wool and other materials that are remade into accessories that are 100% recycled, sustainable and produced locally in New York City. Since all of the materials are recycled and one of a kind, no two bags are exactly alike. While there are endless options out there, it’s pretty hard to find things that are truly covetable and also sustainable. We try to fill that void.
In our travels we come across some amazing vintage pieces as well and we either edit them by dying, cutting, or re-shaping them, or leave them just as they are.
Khepri is the Egyptian God of Resurrection, symbolizing the resurrected materials used to create Khepri products.
